Usage
The Glucertain® Blood Glucose Meter is designed for quantitative blood glucose measurements using fresh capillary blood. It is ideal for professionals in healthcare environments, aiding diabetes control monitoring. Suitable for patients over a range of conditions, the device is optimized for use on fresh capillary samples from the fingertip, palm, or forearm.
Directions:
- Prepare a fresh safety lancet for each test. Sanitize the test area with an alcohol swab.
- Insert the test strip into the meter, which will power on automatically.
- After ensuring the blood drop icon is flashing, use the lancet to puncture the skin and draw a small blood sample.
- Apply the sample to the test strip. The meter will display results in five seconds.
- Dispose of the used test strip and lancet according to biohazard protocols.
